A little insight...

I've set up this site for my own nefarious purposes.  Alas, I'm not even sure myself what they are yet, but I'm sure you'll find out as they come to me.  I have plans for adding some of my favorite website links and maybe some of my old bad poetry.  Should inspiration return, I'll be adding more.  Normally I would have a plan for a site such as this, but after having the domain for umpteen years now, still can't figure out what the heck to put on it.  Guess that means we get to discover the site together, eh?

Anywho, guess I better get to adding some content.

Site Updates

NEW! 2010-06-30 - Oh yes, it's been awhile.  All sorts of happenings in the world; sadly most are health related and not in the best way.  Will save you the drama here and just mention that I've moved it all into one space on a blogspot page called I've Got Faith of the Heart.  Saves me rambling on FaceBook about it to a whole bunch of folks I'm sure could care less.  No one likes hearing folks whine/complain anyways, right?  So all that gets dumped safely into the blog so only people who actually want to read me rambling bring it upon themselves without my dumping and them having to avoid my fb posts.  See?  I'm considerate :-D  Things that I've done to the site don't really add up to much right now I'm afraid.  I've added a few new links and removed the ambitious writing blog project and put it on its own blogspot page.  In theory and reality this makes it easy for me to get to it and post to it from just about anywhere.  Now the trick is actually updating.  Almost had one last night but as always, found myself hesitating.  Dang it.  *rummages around in the non-existant bag of holding*  Yes yes... confidence.  I know it's in here somewhere.  Anyways... Quick THANK YOU to the folks that happen to wander by my page.  *smiles*  Definitely a lot more traffic than I ever expected.  Hoping to finish filling out the bad poetry section in the near future what what I have left that I can find and also add some more of my favorite movie quotes.  Might make that my Friday project while I'm holed up in a hospital for 6 1/2 hours.  Ugh.  Anywho, thanks again for visiting.  Will try my best to keep updating :-D
2010-04-27 - Yup. Yet again took me just a few months to get back here ;-)  Tonight's plan is to add more of that bad poetry I never got around to last time. Found it hidden in the depths of an external hard drive. Will get up everything I figure won't scare everyone off. It's all from 99-02ish. Rough times with the only way to get the thoughts and emotions out being words that I once figured no one else would ever read.  Enjoy.
2009-12-16 - Sadly didn't make it all that far on the writing section.  Not giving up home on it just yet.  In the mean time, adding a new link to a LARP that's starting up called Trader's Crossing.  Looking to try and help the good folks out by providing some linkage to their Facebook page.  Very story/RP based game.  Definitely worth looking into for anyone whose in the area.  PS--Also updated the pic on the front page.  It's about ancient at this point, but best I got for the moment.  Have a birthday coming up so maybe there will be a more recent picture I can add from the festivities :-D
2009-10-02 - It's not that I don't visit often, it's just that I'm not sure what all to put on here.  Wordpress didn't work out so the site's going to continue to look a bit fluffy and cheesy.  I can't afford anything nice, so hope you folks understand.  Thinking I'm going to add a blog page and use it for a writing project.  With aspirations of becoming a professional writer some day, I'm told that no matter what I need to dedicate at least 1-2 hours a day writing no matter the subject or whether I feel it or not.  So, gonna try to make my post place here for the future good, bad, and ugly.  Think I'll go see what my blog options are now or see if freeservers offers a better page tool for the project.  As always, thanks for visiting my site :-D
2009-07-20 - Long time no update.  Looking to see if WordPress will allow me a bit more customization to my site than using the regular unleaded "here, have a page" options offered.  Will do some more research this next week.  Added a new link to a friend of a friends Mary Kay site.  She's looking to try and have it as her sole business in an effort to get out of a crummy call center environment.  Can't say I blame her.  All about adding links to help folks out.  So my "action item" for the week is WordPress.  Hopefully we'll have a better site going here sooner than later.  Also thinking about changing the content in a whole new direction.  Life events have a way of making you think about what you can share with the world and what might help others.  Anyways, long *** update.  Should see if I can get the blog feature working so I don't have to keep posting all this here :-)  Thanks again for visiting my site!
2009-03-12 - FreeServers Guest Book is busted.  Only loads top of page and says there are errors and doesn't actually give you the option to enter submissions.  Pulling the page for now till FS gets a Guest Book option that works.  Sorry to anyone that was kind enough to sign the Guest Book, but for now it's busted.
2009-03-10 - Changed the theme of each of my four pages.  I know, folks appreciate consistency.  But I like having each page kind of have a feel for what the page contains.  No one's signed my guestbook yet so not sure how the recent changes I've made have effected folks navigation/like of the site, but figure I have lots of time to find once once the guestbook gets used.  Hhhmm.. I keep putting all these updates.  May I could add a blog to the site and put these there.  Hhmm..
2009-03-08 - Last thing for the evening.  Finally got that bad poetry I promised in my intro into here.  Not all of it.  Still have to locate my old desktop hard drive for that.  But a chunk is there.  All of it was written from around 1994-2001 or so.  Don't have exact dates till I can get to my desktop system.  Anywho, hope you enjoy!
2009-03-08 - Ooo!  Added a Guest Book!  What a novel idea.  I figure with over 900 hits to the site now it was about time.  Should you care to leave any comments about the site or random bits of wisdom, the Guest Book would be the best place for it!  Thanks!!
2009-03-08 - Yeah, I know.  It's been awhile :-)  As the majority of my Homepage was movie quotes and only getting longer, figured I would move it to its own page.  Not quite sure what I'm going to do with the rest of the site yet.  Husband headed to bed early so got some time to play around.  Thanks again to everyone whose visted my site!
2008-10-30 - Added a section for my favorite movie quotes.  Think that one's going to be long.  Will add as I remember more.
2008-10-29 - Added a couple more links and a photo album.  Taking forever to add pics, but got at least half the wedding pics up I think.  Yay :-)
2008-10-28 (bit later) - Added a couple pics.  *yawns*  Hhmmm.. what else... 
2008-10-28 (later) - Added my favorite links.  Probably more to come, but it's a start.
2008-10-28 (earlier) - Totally new theme/layout.  Added an intro blurb. Added an update. And there was much rejoicing... Yaaaaaay...
